HFDM/HUMS

Héli-Union has introduced Helicopter Flight Data Monitoring (HFDM) and Health & Usage Monitoring Systems (HUMS) into the fleet. HFDM program is a systematic and pro-active use of digital data from our routine helicopter operation to reduce aviation risks and ultimately, improve safety.

HUMS helps monitor usage and health parameters to detect in advance any component degradation through the inflight vibrations. The HUMS decreases the chance of unscheduled maintenance by anticipating the needs of technical operations on degraded components. As a part of the maintenance policy, this system increases the serviceability of the helicopters and subsequently enhances the overall safety of our operations.
